I'm social and extroverted, yet I do appreciate downtime and being at home or away from everything. I enjoy a great piece of fiction, Stephen King is my favorite. I have more dresses and heels than blue jeans and yoga pants, but I am capable of looking casual and my makeup and heels come off as soon as I walk in the door. I'd like to have more time for hobbies like photography, traveling, exploring, doing the bourbon trail, so with any luck being with the right person who supports my hobbies and creative streaks will encourage me more to make time for those things and other things. I'm from Chicago originally and moved to Kentucky when I married my ex-husband. We were married for 10 years, divorced amicably, and I have been divorced nearly 3 years. I do not have children. I wish I did, but that did not happen. I love children. I still believe very much in marriage and want a relationship where we each can appreciate one another, show actions as much as words or moreso, believe in what a commitment is, support each other and enhance one another. And challenge one another to become ever better persons. Chemistry and attraction is important to me. Feeling, passion, being surprised and having those moments which become transcendent -- those are priceless. Communication is a must. If you are not happy, tell me, talk to me, share with me. Being accepted for who I am is important. I'm not perfect, I don't always look put together, I can change topics with the flip of a coin and forget what I am about to say. Sometimes I don't feel very confident, very strong, very smart. I miss how amazing it feels to have someone love you for you, be attracted to you, want to share their day with you and ask you how yours was, and plan things to do in the future and that night even. And I miss being loved, held, and having someone truly look me in the eyes and tell me what I mean to them. Physically ... I'm not into facial hair, I prefer 5-11 or taller because I wear high heels. I prefer someone older than me. Not really into piercings or tattoos either. I like a guy who is put together, structured, disciplined. But fun, passionate, romantic and loves to find ways to make me smile, laugh. My friends, who are biased, say I am beautiful, sexy, brilliant, smart, driven, accomplished. Again, they are biased. I can get stressed out about little things and I do work on that, but the ideal match will understand and not lose patience with me. I have hearing loss so I like captions on tv and I do have hearing aids but tend to keep them out part of the time while at home. Being a gentleman is important to me. I can open my own door, but the feeling when it is opened for me, a chair pulled out, or someone sends me flowers (does anyone do that anymore?) ... is very touching and romantic.
