New restaurants (no chains!), new places (no group tours!), and my favorite - traveling Texas looking for the ultimate barbeque experience!! I'm intrigued by spontaneous activities and love to attend music concerts - generally something from the late sixties through the seventies. I can keep a beat and like to dance, but the knees are a limitation. Boo...Cooking is a passion, and holiday meals are my specialty. Love to bake yeast breads and nothing beats cornbread made in a cast-iron skillet.I really like the sounds of waves, especially at night and hearing them again just as I wake up. I like to scuba dive, although I never bothered to get certified.I've been told after extensive testing and interview that I am inquisitive, intuitive and self assured. I'm well informed and have a pretty broad education. Reading is something that I like to do whether it is to improve my knowledge or just waste time reading some escapist/fiction - like something you'd pick up at the airport gift shop.Sure, we all got a little banged up in life. Just have to remember that there is a plan, not to fight reality and to take things as they come. I'm very optimistic that we all will find joy in all our tomorrows.
